The second match of the 2015 FIVB Volleyball World League between Iran’s national volleyball team and the US took place on Monday at 3:30 AM Tehran time in Galen Center of Los Angeles.
Iran lost the match to the US 3-1. In the first, second and fourth set US volleyball team beat Iran 25-16, 25-16 and 25-20 respectively. The Iranians, however, put up a better performance and took the lead from the very beginning of the third set, until they won it 25-20.
Iran’s volleyball team had also sustained defeat at the hand of US in the first match of the 2015 FIVB Volleyball World League on Sunday, thus dropping to the bottom of the Pool B match.
Iran is set to take on Poland on June 5 and 6 and will play against Russia on June 13 and 14.
